I am a flute maker who bases new designs on the taditional 19th century wooden flutes. These flutes have a musical quality that the modern metal flutes do not possess. My aim is to improve their design and encourage musicians to reconsider there use in the modern age.
I have been a flute player for over 30 years and obtaned a first class honours degree in musical instrument technology. I use modern engineering techniques to achieve the precision needed to produce a good musical instrument.
